“Wanderlust: Oaxaca” by K10’s Small Camera ~ Because the Best Camera is the One You Have With You!
October 2012: Hurricane Sandy devastated the Eastern seaboard and threatened to wash away our travel plans to Oaxaca, the heartbeat of Dia de Muerto. By the grace of God (and Ghouls) we made it out in one piece, only losing a day of travel. What follows is a pictorial account of our adventure South of the Border with 1 Van, 5 Friends, and 1 Toddler, traveling round-trip from Mexico City deep into the southern mountains. Get ready for ghosts, goblins, roasted crickets, mezcal, and the dreaded Montezuma. (Street Soup = No!)
These images were all shot on Nikon’s compact powerhouse, the P7100, proving once again that the best camera truly is the one you have with you!
